Our team continues to closely monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and are following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.

Guests have 2 choices upon arrival:

  • Await for their second negative COVID-19 PCR test at Treasure Beach, regardless of which Elegant property you have booked. Benefits to staying at Treasure Beach during your waiting period include access to the pool, fitness centre, themed in-room dinning and more. For more information please click here.
  • Await for their second negative COVID-19 PCR test at the Elegant property of their booking. Guests will be limited to their room for the wait period of the test results.

Treasure Beach Now Open!
Limited facilities available for those waiting for their second COVID-19 PCR test at Treasure Beach. The hotel is currently scheduled to reopen with regular facilities and beach access as of 4 Jan 2021. For more information, please click here.

Waves Hotel and Spa Now Open!
We are happy to announce that Waves Hotel and Spa has now reopened! For those staying at Waves Hotel and Spa in the coming weeks, please click here for updates to property amenities, services and guidance. Guests awaiting their second COVID-19 PCR test will be limited to their rooms until they receive a negative result.

For those who had reservations affected by temporary closures, we encourage guests to reach out to our reservations team or their travel providers to relocate to one of our open hotels or rebook for future dates. Review Barbados Travel Protocol Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) here.

Recently we have updated our cancellation policies for all existing and future bookings:

  • Guests travelling between now and 20 December 2020 can cancel without penalty up to 24 hours prior to their scheduled arrival. Please note even if you are arriving earlier than 20 Dec but are staying at the hotel for any date between 21 Dec-2 Jan, the below policy will apply which requires 30 days advanced notice. These policies is not applicable to contracted groups of 10+ rooms.
  • Guests arriving between 21 December 2020 and 2 Jan 2021 can cancel without penalty up to 7 days prior to arrival without penalty. These policies are not applicable to contracted groups of 10+ rooms.
