“ We first visited a Crystal Cove around sixteen years ago, really by chance as we were looking for somewhere on an island we knew well but wanted somewhere to stay that was intimate and friendly. My sister and her family had been visiting the hotel with her family for the past five years and couldn't stop talking about how amazing this place was. We decided to give it a try and from the moment we arrived it felt like it was the best decision we had made. We were cared for like we were family and nothing was ever too much trouble.This was just the start of a long and lasting relationship that continues to endear to this day. We are now regular guests and visit twice a year, our upcoming visit on the 1st of December will be our twenty second visit. For us it is like coming home. The staff are wonderful and always ready to help, nothing is ever too much trouble. Always consistent and friendly. The food and drink is always of a really high quality, and if you ever fancy something a little different that's not on the menu they will always try their best to get it for you. Year after year you will always see the same guests returning and they will all say it's like a second home where their family are there to look after them.”

“ This is our second visit to Crystal Cove. We visited 4 years ago for our 30th anniversary, and had a private dinner on the beach... fantastic. We even got our old room this time. Crystal Cove is ideally located on the West Coast of Barbados. Perfect location for access to Bridgetown in the South, and also towns further north (Holetown and Speightstown)As far as I'm concerned, this Hotel is perfect for a relaxing holiday. You can relax and chill on your balcony, pool side or beach (staff regularly come around with drinks). or, you can get adventurous and take part in loads of water activities. The hotel also operate a water taxi to transport you FOC to other Elegant facilities. We didn't. We were very happy where we were. The menus were many and varied through the two restaurants. Reflections more formal, but still relaxed, and Drifters, open aired and very relaxing. Half the fun of travelling abroad is to partake of local delicacies. All staff are outstandingly pleasant, knowledgeable and very likable. They will always have a chat, even if they are busy, and you leave feeling you have made new friends. Well I did.Crystal Cove also arrange many trips, which we undertook first time around. As with our first visit, we hired a jeep (arranged through the hotel), and toured the Island, exploring the "Real Barbados". This was the most fun. We felt very safe having "shouting greetings" with locals as we drove past. At no point did we feel uneasy out on our own. I don't know if this is a real word, but Crystal Cove is "Stupendous", and I'd return in a flash. ”
